Digital smile design

The restorative result is designed on the computer using digital photographs as well as dynamic video recordings and the software mentioned. The planned treatment is then tested in the patient's mouth using a mock-up. This makes it possible to see the subsequent treatment result beforehand and, if necessary, to optimize it according to the patient's wishes. On the one hand, this visualization improves communication between dentist and patient, as well as all other people involved in the treatment process.

CAD / CAM dentures

What does CAD / CAM technology mean in the manufacture of dentures?

CAD is the abbreviation for "computer aided design" and CAM is the abbreviation for "computer aided manufacturing". This technology was originally developed for the aerospace and automotive industries. In modern dentistry, CAD / CAM means a computer-aided high-tech process that is used for the design and manufacture of dental prostheses such as crowns, bridges, implant prosthetics and abutments as well as temporaries. Materials such as zirconium dioxide, ceramic, titanium, metal, metal alloys, all-ceramic and high-performance plastics are used for this.

Biologically neutral metal-free materials

All-ceramic crowns are particularly aesthetically pleasing. With the new high-tech all-ceramic (zirconium oxide or lithium disilicate), crowns are practically indistinguishable from natural teeth. According to the current state of knowledge, no allergic reactions to zirconium oxide or lithium disilicate are to be expected. Each crown is individually manufactured for you via CAD / CAM and individually customized afterwards.

All-on- 4  ®

In our everyday practice, we are increasingly confronted with patients' desire for shorter treatment times and faster forms of therapy. The high success rates that are documented in the literature for restoration with splinted multi-implants in the lower jaw and that coincide with our own have prompted us to increasingly offer patients immediate restoration of implants as an alternative for this classic indication. In our practice, this procedure is established, which is characterized by good predictability and high long-term success. The All-on-4® treatment concept is a cost-effective solution without augmentation that offers patients a fixed prosthetic restoration for the entire dental arch on the day of the procedure.

SIMULTANEOUS IMPLANTATION AND BONE AUGMENTATION

Bonering is a surgical method developed by Drs. Yüksel & Giesenhagen. This technique has found its way into practices worldwide and is described as the ring technique. It is a prefabricated cancellous ring made from processed donor human bone. Maxgraft® Bonering enables immediate implant placement and bone augmentation in one step. Therefore, when using the ring technique, a second surgical intervention can be dispensed with. This shortens the treatment time up to the final prosthetic restoration by several months and thus contributes to increased patient acceptance. Thanks to the multi-stage, certified cleaning process, maxgraft® is safe and retains the advantages of human bone replacement material.
The preserved natural collagen ensures the rapid integration, healing and flexibility of the ring.
